The source of vitality
Our physical body is driven by our life force. Beneath and within the surface of the body's visible mechanisms, breathing life into each cell and tissue system is our vital life force: us. Wellness is the condition where our life force is exerted throughout our body in a manner balanced with nature. Are we working against nature or with it?
The vital force and its connection to health
Understanding the connection between our vital force and the forces of nature that work within and around the body is the key to determining the factors of well-being. Our activities will either create or disturb that balance. Balance brings about well-being. Allopathic medicine typically focuses on the various signs or symptoms of the opposite of well-being, or disease. The dysfunction and the causes for a departure from well-being are separate topics. A departure from well-being begins when the vital force has conflict from within and/or the vital force is blocked from circulating through parts of the body. Vital force blockages can result from burdens placed upon the body. These may include environmental and dietary toxins, stress, nutritional deficiencies, and/or a general lack of interaction with the forces of nature. A combination of internal disharmony and vital force blockages can cause a weakened constitution and the inability to adapt to or handle further stress. This creates a vicious cycle of imbalanced metabolism and increased vulnerability.

What Real Natural Health is not.....
Because of its complex nature and potential conflicts with well-being we do avoid the following (without criticism of those who are skilled enough to do so without harm):
- clinical diagnosis or treatment of disease
- chemically-derived medications
- surgery or other invasion of the skin by mechanical means
- chemically isolated constituents derived from plants or herbal products to make constituents or nutrients outside of their natural combinations and constituency (we promote whole plant or whole plant extracts and food-based nutrients)
- radiation or other electronic intrusion of the body or foods with rays that are considered outside natural spectra
- unnecessary cruelty to animals or human beings
- deforestation and dumping of toxic substances in the water or earth
Naturally.....
We prefer to encourage a person to first evaluate the major driving factors for their vital being, including lifestyle, diet, exercise, fresh air and relaxation as well as goals, values, and other factors which give their life meaning. Then we can assist one to uncover sources of metabolism dysfunction within the body. We may provide a person with activities to promote rejuvenation and vitality, suggest natural remedies that encourage well-being and a stronger constitution, or devise other tools to bring balance back to the person. A stronger constitutional vitality infused with purpose and goals are ingredients for a fully-functioning system, and a life that may be more fulfilling and sustaining.
